Camera Café has no membership list, no fees, no advancement sections. The people who attend meetings are enthusiasts, not members. They represent several clubs and a variety of different approaches to photography. Most are digital enthusiasts whose work ranges from radical manipulations to minimal enhancements. There are also some darkroom workers, some interested friends and companions. Discussion takes place at all levels, sometimes controversial. but always informative, friendly and interesting. Anyone is free to bring prints (digital or darkroom — no slides at this stage), enjoy praise when it is due, and try to learn from constructive criticism and expert technical advice. Opinions flow freely, points of view and values are challenged, thought is provoked and, hopefully, awareness extended.

There are no points, no prizes or awards, no competitions. We are simply there to learn from each other and gain inspiration.
